AutomationDirect has partnered with Fuji Electric to offer a complete line of IEC motor controls.

The DUO line (SC-E contactors and TK-E overloads) is fully integrated so multiple motor control solutions are possible with a minimum number of components. The SC-E contactors work with either the conventional adjustable overloads or the new MMS to create starters for a variety of applications.

The conventional starters in the DUO line can accommodate motors up to 75 Kilowatts at 480VAC. The larger contactors feature the SUPERMAGNET™ coil for greater reliability and positive pick-up and drop-out. The Odyssey Series of contactors and overloads also feature the SUPERMAGNET™ coil and come in sizes up to 225 kilowatts. The Odyssey Series contactors are available in four sizes with overloads to match any motor to 300 horsepower. Both the DUO and Odyssey line are available in 24 VAC, 24 VDC, 120 VAC, and 240 VAC coil versions.

Fuji MMS Combination Starter Selection

Overview

By utilizing the UL Type E rating of the Fuji manual motor starter, a combination starter can be constructed and wired in less time and at a lower cost while minimizing enclosure space requirements.

The MMS is classified as a self-protected motor control device, allowing for group motor control without the need for separate motor branch circuit protection. The MMS provides short circuit, motor overload, and phase loss protection as well as ON / OFF control with lockout capability. When combined with a Fuji SC-E series contactor, remote motor control is possible with a minimum amount of space requirements.
