FAQ: Shipping Options

Shipping Method Australia and New Zealand

 

Orders over $500.00*

All orders $500.00 and over,  (up to 10Kg by weight or dimension) , Automation Direct will ship Free into Store by our preferred  method, including our New Zealand customers up to 5 Kg( by weight or dimension).

Orders under $500.00

For orders under $500.00 a standard Packaging and Handlling charge which includes insurance, will be added to the invoice, at a fixed fee of $21.00 ex GST per order not exceeding 10Kg by weight or dimensional weight and up to 5Kg for our New Zealand customers.

Orders over 10 Kg and Heavy items

Orders up to 10 Kg will ship via Air Freight, orders over 10 Kg will ship via Road Freight.  Ground delivery time depends on your delivery address where you live in relationship to our Mudgeeraba, location ( or where the shipment originates).

Export orders and VARS

Export orders are with our nominated carrier is UPS, or Toll and will be charged at a calculated rate per consignment and all costs will be added to the invoice, All other costs including Custom Charges, Taxes and Duties etc are the responsbility of the receiver.

Nominated Resellers and VARS,

Consignments will be charged at a "fixed price" per shipment up to 10 Kg. Consignments up to 5 Kg will be sent via Air Freight and consignments over 5 Kg will be sent via Road Freight Express.

All orders over 10 Kg and other heavy items will be calculated on a "per shipment basis"..

Shipping Deadlines are as follows

Same-day shipping deadlines
• To ship Air freight, place order before 3 p.m. EST.
• To ship Road Freight, place order before 11 a.m. EST

• For shipments requiring the use of Road frieght (heavy items such as motors over 25 Kg. or enclosures over 20 Kg.), place order before 4 p.m. EST the day before.


Note:

We do not ship on Saturday, Sunday or national and company holidays.

We do not ship orders COD

Automation Direct Pty Ltd is not a frieght company and any delivery times and conditions are based on information provided by the frieght companies whom are rsponsible for there proformance.

Backorders

.Backorders will automatically ship (via the same method as the original shipment) when the product is in stock, with no additional delivery charges.

 

Incorrect Supply of Product

1. If we have incorrectly shipped the product as stated on your order, when we issue you a RAN Number and our shipping details, the correct product will be sent to you at our expense.

Concerns

If you think your shipment is past due or incomplete, please consider these items before you call to check on the order:
• Allow ample time for delivery. Some carriers schedule multiple deliveries . You may track your orderonline
• For shipments to area outside Australia, timely delivery cannot be guaranteed as they may be delayed in customs.
• Check with your receiving department. We have received many calls where the receiving department failed to deliver the package
or notify the recipient.
• Check the package for any small items. They can easily get buried in packing material.
• Please inspect all deliveries promptly. You must notify us within 48 hours of receipt with reported discrepancies or shortages.
