Expansion I/O Card (optional)
Expansion I/O Card enables to connect up to 100 discrete I/O points

Available in eight models: The DL06 PLC line includes eight models to choose from in both AC and DC powered models. With its wide range of power supply capabilities (100-240 VAC and 12-24 VDC), the DL06 won't need an additional transformer in most applications. This makes the DL06 a great fit for even high voltage, 220-240 VAC applications or remote 12 VDC applications, and everything in between.

Eight PID loops with autotune: The DL06 supports its great analog capabilities with PID and floating point math at no additional charge.

High-speed counting: The DL06 includes built-in configurable motion control I/O. With the DL06, there is no need to purchase a separate motion controller or programmable limit switch (PLS) if your application only includes one simple motion requirement.

Option modules:

  • Analog input module F0-04AD-1
  • Four 12-bit, 0-20ma or 4-20ma input channels
  • Removable terminal block
  • Use signals for monitoring and control applications, or as the process variable for the fill-in-the-blank PID loop function in any model DL05 (Version 3.0C of DirectSoft required)
    Analog input/output module F0-2AD2DA-2
  • Two 12-bit, 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC input channels and two 12-bit, 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC output channels
  • Removable terminal block
  • Use signals for monitoring and control applications, or as the process or output variable for the fill-in-the-blank PID loop function in any model DL05 (Version 3.0C of DirectSoft required)
    Analog input/output module F0-4AD2DA-2
  • Four 12-bit, 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC input channels and two 12-bit, 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC output channels
  • Removable terminal block
  • Use signals for monitoring and control applications, or as the process or output variable for the fill-in-the-blank PID loop function in any model DL05 (Version 3.0C of DirectSoft required)
  • RTD Input Module F0-04RTD 4 channel RTD Input Module, 0.1 degrees C resolution, supports: Pt100, jPT100, Pt1000, Cu10, Cu25, Ni120
  • Thermocouple Input Module F0-04THM 4 CHANNEL THERMOCOUPLE OR 16-BIT MV INPUT
    DeviceNet slave module D0-DEVNETS
  • DL06 becomes a "smart node" on a DeviceNet network using this new communications option module
  • Adds low-cost and small-footprint discrete I/O to an application requiring Devicenet bus interface
  • CUnet A Whole New Way of Networking D0-HSIO
  • The chipset,"MKY40",has own communication protocol built-in.
  • Up to 64 stations,4096 I/O points per 1 Network.
  • Super high-speed data communication.
  • The CUnet does not require master/slave arrangement.
  • Supporting multi-drop network connection.
  • Mail function can be used for the data transmission to communicate more than 4096 I/O points.
  • No programming is necessary for communication module setting.(Only SW settings)
  • Each shared data will allocated on link relay (GI/GQ),so you won't be conscious of distinguishing I/O points between stations while programming.
  • Mail function is simply controlled by four instructions.
  • CUnet modules are available for all DL-05, DL-06,and Terminator I/O.
    Ethernet Communication Module H0-ECOM
  • Ethernet Communication Module, master/slave on an Ethernet 10Base-T network at 10 Megabaud, cable not included. Uses standard RJ45 modular connectors and supports UDP/IP and IPX protocols. Applications for the H0-ECOM include online programming of DL05/06 PLCs using DirectSOFT32 over Ethernet, and simultaneous data serving to HMI/SCADA and information systems using OPC over Ethernet. The H0-ECOM can accept a standard IP address and subnet mask to be used in conjunction with standard routers and switches.
  • Use the DL06 to:

  • Build a micro process monitor/controller using the PID function and analog input option module.
  • Add a local operator interface to set and view parameters.
  • Network distributed I/O nodes with local intelligence that can also communicate globally.
  • Use 10-30VDC powered units in remote locations for data monitoring and control.

NEW! D0-DCM Data Communications Module

The D0-DCM Data Communications Module offers two communication ports for a variety of simultaneous communications possibilities. It is primarily used for three reasons: Extra communications ports to connect a PC, operator interface, etc. Network interface to DirectNET Network interface to a MODBUS® network using the RTU protocol The top RJ12 RS232 port can be used for PLC programming, connection to an OI panel or as a single DirectNet or K-sequence slave.

The 15-pin front port can be used for either RS232/422/485 communications and supports the following protocols: K-sequence slave, DirectNet master/slave, MODBUS RTU master/slave and ASCII input or output (ASCII/PRINT instructions). Extra communication ports If additional communication ports are needed, they can easily be added by installing DCM modules. This allows additional connections of devices, such as operator interfaces, PCs, etc. Since the DCM does not require any programming, you can set the DCM communication parameters using DirectSOFT32, connect the cables, and start transferring data. Make sure the connected device has a DL05/06 compatible driver. DirectNet network interface

The DCM can be used as a network interface for applications requiring data to be shared between PLCs, or between PLCs and an intelligent device such as a host PC.

The DCM connects easily to DirectNET. This network allows you to upload or download virtually any type of system data including Timer/Counter data, I/O information, and V-memory information from any DirectLOGIC or compatible PLC.

Port 2 on the DCM allows the DL05/06 to function as a DirectNET network master or slave. MODBUS RTU interface The DCM can be used as a master or slave station interface to connect your DL05/06 system to a MODBUS® network using the MODBUS RTU protocol. The DL06 CPU supports the MRX/MWX MODBUS network instructions. These instructions allow you to enter native MODBUS addressing in your ladder program with no need to perform octal to decimal conversions.

Connect directly to common ASCII devices Port 2 on the DCM supports several ASCII input/output capabilities when used with the DL06 PLC including raw ASCII strings and embedded ASCII via a supported protocol (MODBUS, DirectNet, K-Sequence) from an external HMI or similiar master. Interface your ASCII devices, such as barcode readers, weigh scales or embedded controllers to the DL06/DCM/port2 using our "AIN" (ASCII input) instruction. There are also instructions that support ASCII output for printers, labelers or other compatible serial devices.
